Road Trip, Day 1: Melbourne, Monash, Holey Plains

 
  First stop on the trip - Christian chooses a soothing environment for the frazzled driver. Monash University contained both food and lovely surroundings. On the way out of Monash - this company probably wouldn't do well in the US right now... Holey Plains State Park - Christian decides we'll take the scenic route to the beach. Krista is displeased about the one-lane road, but then, at this point, Krista would have been displeased about anything. (Krista was scaaaared of driving!) Pretty trees at Holey Plains More pretty trees at Holey Plains The plains part of More pretty trees - the drive may have been unnerving, but the surroundings were really nice :)  
 

 
  Road through the park - Krista was repeatedly passed by the Park Ranger... This was BEFORE the dirt track park of the drive... More Holey Plains... Even yet more Holey Plains. Christian forces Krista to get out of the car and overcome fears of spiders and snakes. (Note: fears had been carefully cultivated by Australian friends, so it was not her fault) Unhappy Krista, frazzled from driving and afraid of wildlife. Krista gets a sense of humor. Tries to eat foliage. Can you find the Christian in this picture? Ok, how about this one?
